SPROG Inc. a non-profit youth organization dedicated to
helping children to develop into good citizens. Through
the motto of "LOVE and CONCERN",
SPROG provides educational, cultural and recreational
activities for children in pre kindergarten - eighth grade.
SPROG also provides job training and employment
opportunities for young adults in the community to serve
as youth counselors. These young people are
generally aged sixteen to twenty-one. Our job training
program requires all applicants to attend
developmental workshops prior to employment. Many
of the youth employed, as well as our volunteers, are
past program participants.
Serving youth from throughout St. Louis County, SPROG
operates primarily for seven weeks during the summer
months using the facilities of Grace Episcopal Church
at 514 E. Argonne, Kirkwood, Mo.
Certified teachers are hired to teach our education
classes.
